Issc msr mk22

Yes sir I have one I love it. Accuracy not to shabby. I have about 2500 rounds thru mine and only the standard issues with bulk ammo. Mini mags and yellow jackets never any issues. Just make sure u get one with the factory fixes done then u will have happy shooting.

First generation had some bolts in the carrier group that would rattle out so if u have a first gen rifle and contact issc they would send u new parts. Very easy to install. Or the second generation rifles have all the fixes done and better flip up sights. I would suggest to get a newer generation rifle

Where is the best price for this gun? Live in Vancouver and saw it this past weekend for $610

Looking to buy one in then next few months in the sand scheme, i searched frontier where the OP said he ordered but do not see it on their site?

Oh boy....do I EVER have "experience" with one of these...( got a minute ? ) I bought one...from Saskatchewan about a year ago. I have had it out a half dozen times as I'm limited to where & when I can shoot. It has never fired the first round, fails to eject and has been a POS ever since. I have had no luck with the "dealer" and am now looking at an Ontario company to "fix" it....as I've tried numerous times, to no avail. ( emails, forums, youtube ) Our local gunsmith has no idea. It cost over 600 dollars and my Remington 597 is better in every way...just doesn't look as "cool".( NOTE: never buy "cool"...ok ? ...trust me on this ) I have a passion for FN's so that was the main reason I got it...plus the fact it was made in Germany for an Austrian company. You would think that isn't a problem...but here we are...lol. No brand new rifle, should have so many issues upon release...didn't they bother test firing the POS ?....sorta like the Remington pistol, I guess. I took it out...one final time last week....loaded and tried firing it....nothing....and put it back in the case. I took out my brand new, 499 dollar Canada Ammo ( love those guys ) C-8 Clone-a-saurus....put in one of my 2 PCV 50 Beowulf mags....loaded with 14 rounds of 223...and started pulling the trigger....fast. It cycled them all, I changed mags and fired off another 14. The RCMP were using the Pistol range, next door and I told my brother that we should have company soon. I was right and 45 minutes later, had my mags and rifle back and put 200 rounds downrange...with no problems. ( i didn't want to press my luck so I never knew what answer the constable was given...but I guess they're legal. ) Another reason I got the ISSC was the non-limit for rimfire. Anyway, I would NOT recommend buying one unless you can test-fire it first, put a LOT of rounds through it and have no FTF's or FTE's. As of now, I can't use it and I can't sell it. Caveat Emptor, right ?

I live in Kamloops...and I am seeing less and less, for sale. Why ?....because they had / still have problems....both generations. If they mange to fix mine...I'll sell it to you...with 3 mags and a prayer. Mine must have been made during Oktoberfest...and they assembled it, when drunk, I guess.

I think that as soon as the dealers run out, they won't re-stock them. WAY too many issues. This is a 600 dollar 22 that doesn't live up to expectations. If Ontario fixes mine, I'll gladly sell it to you...and since I live in Kamloops, I'll even deliver it...with 3 ( neverused) mags.....deal ?

Great gun but the magazine's are expensive

Sigh. Seriously. http://www.alflahertys.com/collections/shooting/products/issc-mk22-scar-magazine-m212001. 47$. Rifle mags normally go from 30$ to 85$+, so while they're not the cheapest mags around, they're still in the normal price range.

The point is, if you can't afford $100 for a couple spare mags, how will you afford the carry case, the bipod, the optics, the ammo, the cleaning kit, the targets, more ammo, etc..?

Bad Billy, lol... you know you can EDIT your posts, so you don't make three separate posts about the same subject? :)

The Mk22 is a gun I'm very interested into, so I've been researching it quite a bit. Apart from the early teething problems of the first generation, overall reviews seem to be positive. You may have landed a dud one, Billy.
