Oh boy....do I EVER have "experience" with one of these...( got a minute ? ) I bought one...from Saskatchewan about a year ago. I have had it out a half dozen times as I'm limited to where & when I can shoot. It has never fired the first round, fails to eject and has been a POS ever since. I have had no luck with the "dealer" and am now looking at an Ontario company to "fix" it....as I've tried numerous times, to no avail. ( emails, forums, youtube ) Our local gunsmith has no idea. It cost over 600 dollars and my Remington 597 is better in every way...just doesn't look as "cool".( NOTE: never buy "cool"...ok ? ...trust me on this ) I have a passion for FN's so that was the main reason I got it...plus the fact it was made in Germany for an Austrian company. You would think that isn't a problem...but here we are...lol. No brand new rifle, should have so many issues upon release...didn't they bother test firing the POS ?....sorta like the Remington pistol, I guess. I took it out...one final time last week....loaded and tried firing it....nothing....and put it back in the case. I took out my brand new, 499 dollar Canada Ammo ( love those guys ) C-8 Clone-a-saurus....put in one of my 2 PCV 50 Beowulf mags....loaded with 14 rounds of 223...and started pulling the trigger....fast. It cycled them all, I changed mags and fired off another 14. The RCMP were using the Pistol range, next door and I told my brother that we should have company soon. I was right and 45 minutes later, had my mags and rifle back and put 200 rounds downrange...with no problems. ( i didn't want to press my luck so I never knew what answer the constable was given...but I guess they're legal. ) Another reason I got the ISSC was the non-limit for rimfire. Anyway, I would NOT recommend buying one unless you can test-fire it first, put a LOT of rounds through it and have no FTF's or FTE's. As of now, I can't use it and I can't sell it. Caveat Emptor, right ?
