Just received my MK22 Silencer Adapter from Kentucky Gun Company. Ordered it over the phone with them - I gather they don't deal with Canadian orders very often as it was a week of calling back and forth, trying to find correct shipping prices, etc. But it arrived today.

Lol, on the customs deceleration they even wrote "MK22 Silencer Adapter" and not a peep from Canada Customs....
FYI - I DO NOT plan on putting on a suppressor - thinking of a 12" barrel and then using this to put on a Noveske KX3.

I haven`t experienced nearly the problems others have had. Not sure if I (and others) have received a 'version 2' of this firearm or not.
It's a PITA to clean, but taking the time to break it down and clean and lightly lube (including the magazines), I've have very little issue with it. I now run CCI Blazer with next no issues.
It does seem like there are "good ones" and "Bad ones" though.
If you haven't already, have a good read through the FN forum topic here as it has lots of great info, including how to mod and fix if you experience issues.

Yeah there so hit and miss you don't know what to do you know. I really like it and it's everything I would want a tactical look and practicality plus inexpensive ammo. Good starter to get started and that's what I'm looking for. Just have to hope either mine runs like a beast out of the box or has less mods then some others I've seen. Thanks for the help.

Just picked up a Votrex SPARC micro dot at my LGS. Did lots of research on micro dots this past week and the Vortex SPARC seemed to be a lot of bang for not too much buck! I can't justify spending $600+ on an Aimpoint micro (I have no idea what makes those things that expensive), or any other optic on a $600 .22lr rifle.
I shopped around online and found them for around $220CDN + taxes & shipping. When I was checking out the Vortex web site, it listed my LGS, Island Outfitters, as a Victoria distributor so I called em up today and they had just got 2 in stock today and were listed for $229.99.
I watched many SPARC reviews on YouTube and what you get for the price, it seemed like a good fit. Again, this is not going into combat or competition and it's a low recoil .22, so let's not break the bank on an optic.
The SPARC seems to have a lot of nice features for what I would call a reasonable price for a semi-quality product.
I think it's a perfect fit for my MK.22 and will give it a full test and a review next range day (hopefully in two weeks).

The ISSC irons are OK, not bad for plinking. Never used the "pistol sights" though. Also the front sight adjustment seems very 'loose'.
Iv'e ordered a set of Magpul MBUS Gen II's to put on in place of them, along with my micro dot.
Besides, why would you not want a red dot?!? Especially on this tacti-cool rifle?!?

Yeah, the stock 'irons' are OK, but definitely loose on the height adjustment. Mine were pretty damned accurate, though I'm looking at putting some Magpul MBUS on mine just for something a little more solid.The ISSC irons are OK, not bad for plinking. And Boneman, you'll love the Vortex Sparc. That's what I have on my MK22 and it works really, really well. I get great groupings with it even during rapid fire. Definitely a sweet red dot sight.
