I've just receive my new ISSC Raptor .22 lr.
The thread is not 1/2 x 28 like the importer said on this forum.

There is no mention inside the pistol manual.

Do you know what's the real thread and if there is an adapter to convert this thread to a real 1/2 x 28.

Keeping an eye on this thread since I wanted to purchase one for quite some time.
Did you try contacting ISSC directly?

Measure yours. A caliper is all you need, or a caliper and pitch gage makes it even easier.

Unless the thread is way bigger than 1/2" you won't be able to "convert" it.

ISSC doesn't have this barrel on their catalog for this pistol.
Not yet, but for sure it's smaller than a 1/2 X 28 THREAD. I'll contact Blue Line Solution before to ask why they said it was a 1/2 x 28 thread especially on this forum.

Only thread I found on ISSC barrels is they're metric. I wonder if they're M9x0.75

Thanks for your answer but no, it's not a M9 x 0.75 because I have a Sig Mosquito with this thread and I have the adapter to convert to a 1/2 x 28 TPI and this adapter doesn't fit with the Raptor.

From my point of view: this is a jobber barrel and the thread (1/2 x 28) seems to be outside with the protector instead the barrel..... poor job .....

BLUE LINE SOLUTION: please I'll invite you to clarify ......

Oh well.. Could be M10x1.

I doubt blue line going to come in here and clarify without posting this in their forum.

Thanks for your response, I'll try to contact Blue line Solution to have a answer.

Well they think its 1/2-28 according to the forum. ISSC says its metric on the M22SB.. How about finding someone with a pitch gauge, comes in a tap and die sets. You get a faster results.

So if it's not M9x0.75.. And you say it's not 1/2-28... .Only other 2 threads Ive seen threaded barrels in for that size, are 1/2-20 or M10x1.

Please update once you get news of what the actual thread size is!
How has the gun been performing?
Looking at buying a .22LR semi in the next few days.

It's look like when the deal is done.... we have some kind of "fly by night"

Sorry but a little bit disapointed ....

Mega disappointing indeed.
Shouldn't be that difficult for any manufacturer, importer or retailer to get things right...
I'll shoot ISSC an email as well to hound them.
I'm from Montreal, do you happen to go to CRAFM?

Blue Line has responded to me directly and asked me to call their service department about this question. But in the meantime, I found the real thread of this pistol : M10 x 1

I also found on ebay a thread adapter from M10 x 1 to 1/2 x 28 tpi.
