ISSC Scar 22lr.. Good buy?

Made with mostly cheap zinc and aluminum (to save costs). Heard lots of people say the plastic portion of the shoulder stock breaks easily. Looks badass. Accurate but overcomplicated. Most problems on this rifle involve light primer strikes. Time consuming to take down and clean. Lots of screws - the ones on the bolt carrier all have to be locktited or else you're in for problems.
Buy one only if its a really good deal and you're prepared to tinker with your new toy. If you want something reliable and simple look elsewhere.

Thanks for the input. I personally prefer a rifle made from aluminum over a rifle made mostly of plastic. Otherwise I would probably just buy the Mossberg 715T and save a few bucks. I'm in no rush to buy at the moment so hopefully it comes on sale before Christmas.
Have you looked into the firing pin return spring mod? This rifle is well known for light strikes - some say due to the fact that the firing pin return spring is too stout and prevents the firing pin from hitting cartridges with enough force. Cutting about 3 to 4 coils from the return spring seems to work for most people. The other option I have seen people do is to remove the out of battery safety but doing this might void any warranty.
it was between the issc scar 22. and Sr22 for me I ended up going with the SR22 as it seemed to have a lot more positive comments around the internet, that being said the issc scar 22. looks like a good gun but it does seem to have its faults as pointed out above. but really any gun could have its issues, I might still pick one up one day...
