Lots of threads on this topic. Mine is awesome. Never had any failures at all. There are a few things you have to do though.

One: Disassemble and put blue locktite on the two screws at the back of the gun.

Two: Make sure the ammo is sitting properly in the mag. If the ammo is nose down or not sitting nice then it might not feed properly.

Three: Make sure to keep it clean and lubed up well.

I do all three things and the gun runs perfectly for me. It's a super fun gun to shoot.

I have one of these ISSC Mk22. I am taking it to the range for the first time today. I purposely did not tighten the screws to find out whether mine is one of the ones that work out of the box or not!

Apparently it's a 50:50 based on my research :(
 
... Seems like they sell for too much money to have 50/50 performance out of the box!

These things are like the Lamborghini kit cars built off of Fiero's. All show, not much go.
 
Okay - just got back from the range. I did not have any failures to feed or fire. 3 failures to eject in 200 rounds.
The tactical rails are loose now :( I am off to Canadian tire to pick up some blue locktite. :rolleyes:

I don't own an ISSC MK22, but hope to in the near future, but I do have a comment on searching this site. I have found the main search function on this sight is very awkward. The best way is to go to the specific forum that suits your topic and click on "search this forum". It will yield better results with less effort.

Keep it clean, swap the 2 upper/lower cross bolts with H&K push pins and loctite (blue) every screw/bolt and it will run just fine. Make sure you loctite the rail screws as well, otherwise prolonged shooting will cause your rails to loosen and wobble.

I did all of this and ran another 10 mags through it the other day with zero issues. That brings my round count up to just shy of 1000 with very few FTEs or FTFs. These guns like snappy ammo but if it's well maintained, it'll shoot almost anything.
 
About 6000 rnds thru mine and runes great on Fed Bulk ammo. You should replace vertical bolt #108 with M4x16 as the M4x12 is too short. Loctite these bolts and check them regularly and your good to go. 5 stars for fun shooting and ergonomics.
 
Just got back from the range with mine.
Straight out of the box, no adjustments/tightening made.

Full clip with blazer ammo led to FTF/FTE about 1-2 rounds per full mag.
Full clip with CCI ammo ran a bit better but still had problems.
(Seemed to have most issues while shooting rapid fire)

I tried loading the clip to about half (10-12 rounds) with the blazer ammo and it ran alot better for some reason and even better with the CCI.

I was very conscious about how I loaded the mag.
I put about 600 rounds through it today...


Now im going to clean, swap out the bolt for a longer one, loctite and run it again...

Fun gun to shoot, looks cool. I'm happy with my purchase.
 
I found mine didn't like rapid fire to begin with. I did all that was said above but with mine I put a .020 shim in where the bolt assembly attaches to the back of the upper. This helped keep the bolt pushed up firm against the mating face. Now i can double tap and rapid fire all day without a worry!!!
 
Along with replacing the "too short" screws in the receiver, I also had to trim down the firing pin return spring. I was getting a lot of light strikes. After cutting down that spring it was like a completely different gun. Before doing the mods, I was lucky to get a string of 3 rounds w/o a jam or misfire. Now she'll tear through a mag w/o issue.
