What bullet are you using? Also, like Toolman said, you need some more neck tension by the sounds of it.

I have the same rifle and I've found that I have to load really long just to get near to the rifling with 69gr SMKs, 55gr Varmegeddon HPBTs, and Hornady V-Max bullets; and if I do load them long, they won't feed from the magazine at all. My most accurate loads are usually around recommended length anyways, so it's not an issue for me.

I have the same rifle and used the Hornady OAL tool to produce a measurement of around 2.345" for a 60gr SP. It wound up looking like this.

If you're not into buying something like the Hornady OAL gauge (and maybe the Bullet Comparator), this guy doesn't put a split in the neck. He does mention that he sized the neck, but if you can't do that he talks about just pushing the neck against the edge of the press to tighten it up a bit.
