As already stated, requests for partial refunds are often a scam and are to be avoided unless it's clear that the firearm was misrepresented. The 500 S&W is SAAMI rated at 60K psi, so to "overload" it is really pushing it. I suggest that you have him mail it back to you (at his cost) and once received, issue a full refund for what he paid you originally (including the shipping to him). You lose the shipping to him, and he loses the shipping back to you - clear? At that point he can write you off and I suggest you write him off, but no feedback should be left.
