I having an issue with loading 45 acp on a Dillon 650 xl. When I did the initial set up I loaded a couple of hundred rounds no problem. Then what started happing is every 3rd Round loaded would not fit in the Dillon case check unless you really pressed hard down and you needed to use something do hammer it back out. I started to think maybe it was glock bulged cases , but I could not see a bulge. I then ran a bunch through just the sizer die and they all fit in the case gage. but once I load them every 3rd one does not fit. I checked my seating depth an it is bang on 1.250 and I tried playing with the crimp making it crimp more and it does not alleviate the issue. Do I have two much crimp to start ? if so why would it affect only every 3rd or 4th round.
I am using Cam pro 230 grn bullets. I have saved some of the rounds and I can try and take some picks and upload them? I have never encountered this with all my years of loading on a single stage press.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
