issue with my 870

hey everyone, just got back from the range where I fired a couple 2 3/4 slugs and some field shot through my 870. After a few shots, I noticed that there was a little bit of rattle inside the receiver area. I stopped firing it and when I got home, decided to tear it apart. One of those flat metal pieces (the one on the left if you are looking at the top of the receiver with the barrel pointing away from you) was just floating in there and fell out when I pulled the trigger group out. Is there a way I can fix this or am I going to have to send it to a gunsmith? If it is the latter, how much would it normally cost to get fixed

You have a cartridge guide/shell stop that has come unstaked. You will notice that the part has a hole through it. The trigger group pin (s) go through that hole. If you look closely you will see evidence of the part being staked in. Line the part back up using the trigger group pin that positions it and re stake the part with a sharp slot type screwdriver. Even when unstaked, the part will function properly when the gun is fully assembled. Just a little noisy.
