issue with norinco coach gun

I just picked up a norinco coach gun and when I #### the hammers and pull the trigger it doesn't appear that they hit the firing pin is there a fix for this

put a dime in each barrel then point it up in the air so the dime lays were the firing pin comes out to strike the shell .then pull the hammers back and pull the trigger one at a time if thy are hitting you will hear the dime bounce very clearly .Dutch

I thought the same thing when I watched them fall. The gun always went bang so they must strike and retreat very quickly so it looks like they don't actually strike the pins.

can you follow the hammer down slowly with your thumb when you pull the trigger and when it stops push the hammer against the pin while holding the trigger?
