Issue with Ruger GSR bolt lift, help me sort this out

^^^^^This makes sense, I don't know why I haven't looked at it like that already, lol. If I can clearly see it binding somewhere then filing it down would make sense. Guess I know what I'll be doing after dinner and walking the dogs....
 
I think you are using only cases that you have resized if I have read it right. If that is the correct, are you sure that you are using the right shellholder? I had something similar happen to me with a used rifle that I had bought with dies lots of brass and bullets. l had a number of goofy 'symptoms' before I noticed that the dies came with the wrong shellholder in the box!
 
I'll check this as well, definitely worth having a look at though I think I have it right. I have a whole set of Lee shellholders for my press and I'm pretty certain I used the correct one but that is easy enough to check that I may as well eliminate it by ensuring I have the correct case holder and resizing one or two and chambering them to see if the issue persists, thanks for that.
