I've tried tightening the shellplate so that there's absolutely no "wiggle" but juuuuuuust enuf slack to turn without binding. No difference. It's adjusted as per Dillon's specs the rest of the time.
Dillon told me to put a bend in the section of wire that sits in the toolhead. Helped for awhile (mebbe 20 rounds) and then back to rising. I then tried bending 180* the other way, same problem.
So then I tried bending it 90* sideways, which is why you see the ejector wire "cocked" at an angle. Seemed to do the trick, but after 10-20 rounds, same $hit.
I've tried a spare ejector wire, good for 20 rounds and then back to the same issue.
I'm wondering if the index ring which broke (vids 2 & 3, I think) had anything to do with what seemed to be a very slight mis-indexing when I reloaded my last batch of 40. I do know that this particular problem didn't manifest itself after I replaced the idex ring. Anybody else ever bust one? It was included in my spare parts kit (thank god for that kit).
Antoine.
I really didn't want to bother you with this, but I think you're my only hope now....
