I am having an issue with the trigger group on my versamax. I changed the lifter to the TTI benelli version, to do so i had to pull out the carrier pivot pin. I reassembled the trigger group matchhing the schematic provided. It has cycled and loaded fine for about 50 rds and now under rapid fire the feed latch release spring is jumping out of the feed latch release. to the untrained eye (mine) it looks is fine, but i am wondering if the spring has bent out of spec (too strong or too weak). Any help would be appreciated as I have a 3 gun comp coming up this weekend! PLs pm is you can help.

ps it looks like there should be a teflon washer between the feed latch release and the trigger plate housing to take the play out of the mechanism but it is not listed on the parts list
