It ain't a Glock, but...

^^^ His own quote in the video sums it up pretty good..... "Don't tell me I JUST SHOT MYSELF"

not - my gun just shot me....

Hayday, I am starting to think you just shouldn't own guns.... obviously you think they are far to unpredictable and dangerous.

Lol! Where did it disappear too?

The thread about "Glocks give me the creeps" was apparently moved to a new "Hall of Fame forum", after getting just under 14,000 views, and about 650 comments, covering about 63 pages - in around 4-5 days. Obviously it was a a lively discussion, with people on both sides of the issue taking part. Most comments were interesting and constructive; although I understand I did get taken-off of a couple of guys' Christmas card list.

I don't know if it is related but, apparently - shortly after the thread started - the US DEA quietly issued an order for all of its field agents to be issued new shooting-side, ballistic leg-and-foot armor. Then, the off-duty DEA officer in post 21 - a right handed guy - managed to shoot off a toe on his left foot.

Geez! It shows that safety training and public education has its limits.

How do you figure the people faked the muzzle flash? The still shot is one I captured from the live video (at 6 seconds) not some separate picture, doctored by someone, etc. My guess was that they had used a blank (still really dumb) but the shape of the flash seemed to suggest a live round.

The video was clearly edited. The fact that you even had to question the video speaks to your firearms knowledge.

A lot of people here have suggested that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Just a guess here, but would "A lot of people", be mostly be comprised of a whole bunch of your relatives, with limited genetic diversity? If so, chances are that they wouldn't have any idea what ANYONE is talking about.

You have to lower yourself to hurling personal insults?

I have read several threads in where you leave the entire CGN community scratching their heads - myself included.

Oh man fake as #### give it a rest dr.

Actually I did a bit more of a frame-by-frame review (of the kids gun play video) and it is definitely a fake. The frame showing the blood spatter is definitely bogus. Still cool that they can do that. We all know how to photo edit pictures - videos are a different deal.

As for the other clip of the guy shooting his toe off, I vote for that one being real/ real painful. The video kinda speaks for itself - and apparently there was also some media reporting of the incident etc.

Pundits say stuff like "wouldn't you go back and get your toes etc.?" These comments seem corny to me. I mean, for all they know, maybe this was the first time he shot his toe off. Maybe next time he'd be more composed!
