For a few weeks switching from Reloader 22 and IMR 4350 and reading all that I can get on the net and this great site I think I found the best load!:D 45.5 of IMR4350 below 140gr. sp. Hornady did this same grouping three times! 100yds.
Tikka 695SS. 6.5X55

and the other two targets blew away in the wind?....:D

dang 6.5 Swede makes everythig else look bad when chambered in a Tikka or a Sako....had a Sako 75 6.5 Swede that shot like that with Rel 22 and a 140 AMax.....:)

Badbrass, what velocity are you getting with that load? The reason I ask is I recently obtained a 6.5x55 in a Ruger mk11. The only load I have tried was 42 gr of imr4350 which gives me 2615'/sec. The next load will be 43gr. Of all my reloading manuals the highest load indicated is 43.5gr of imr 4350. I have had a trigger job done to 3.5 lb but havent got around to shooting it since, but without the trigger job it seems very accurate and would ring the gong at 500m.This rifle, I think will be my favorite.

And that was what I had planed to do this morning by my Crony would not work, thought it was the battery, put a freash one in and still no go????
So I have no idea:redface: but tried to get the rifle more centered and I pulled on the last shot:mad: should be good . 5 rounds at 100yds. Well reading the other post's on this site they stated that this was a good load so I kept going up 1/2grain of powder and watching for pressure signs and saw none, I tried 46gr but the group opened up, so stayed with 45.5gr. Any ideas on the Crony?????

If there is too much sunlight you need the shade installed over the chrony or if its very dull you need a light fixture over the chrony. The only time I every saw a light fixture require was in an underground bunker. Good luck.
