It finally happened!

I could never figure out why you didn't peal the sticker off a one pounder and put it on an 8. It's not exactly the same size but real close.

The dsy Andrew told me that he could sell jugs just as easily as cardboard boxes was the last time I ordered it in a box. Much of the time he was pouring it out of 8s into boxes.
 
This guy got his 1st woodcock today.

No pics today. With my work sched this fall it"s his first trip out this fall. Still in puppy mode a bit but going in the right direction. Plan on doing some late season grouse hunting after this shutdown is over.

You're right, he didn't do so well with the retrieve. He did find it and pick it up a few times, but wasn't going to carry it over. Overall he is doing well. I'd rather him see more grouse than woodcock, but that was the deal today.
 
Bet if you had just posted the white jug pic stating you just wanted ONE empty factory jug it would have came your way long ago. Bet most folks thought you were scheming to resell bulk powder or other dubious acts.

It finally came to closure today. It all started on March 22, 2014. It's been a long journey that I had to travel alone, but in the end it was well worth the wait. :cool:

That's actually pretty common... woodcock have very fine, loose feathers... many dogs don't like picking them up and carrying... I had a hunting golden one time, that was perfect on everything with feathers... "except woodcock." Bailey, would find them and put them up, but when sent for a retrieve, she would find the bird and then stand over it waiting for me to arrive.... no matter what I tried she wouldn't touch them.
