I got two more bunnies tonight with my 7x57, so now after getting the hunting stuff shooting ok it's time to take the 45-70 Marlin out for a spin.
420 grain cast bullets doing 1706 fps should be enough gun to take a couple of bunnies eh !!!

I shot under a fox with a .303 when I was a kid, sprayed him with dirt. Couldn't BELIEVE how high straight up in the air ol Reynard went. When he hit the ground he it was like HE was shot out of a gun, an orange streak about 3" off the ground. It was worth the miss to see him go. Looked like something I saw on the Roadrunner Vs. Coyote.
