It is black and it use AR mag....

Caramel, you sure have....."interesting" taste, in black guns.

First it was the MR1, now this.......like I said, "interesting"
Dont forget my Swiss Black special target, i am shopping around for another one with diopter sights , this is by far the best black rifle NR i own... JP.

Thanks for the tip, the kit i ordered from SFCR all ready included and adaptor to fit a 20 gauge/7615 but this is a great idea getting a pistol grip for a pump action, kind go together like peas and carrots... JP.

I knew you can get 20G stocks but I didn't realize anyone was making adapters commercially. I put the pachmayer on their for the picture because it was handy..... but currently that gun has a butler creek 870 folder on it.

Yes ATI kit may be a bit cheap but it come with Rem/Moss/Win 12-20 adaptors all in the same kit, kind of practical for a fast improvment project, but i think i am gonna order a nice kind of Hogue pistol grip and do your trick, was looking at them at this moment... JP.

I thought you'd picked one of those up. I would have mentioned that one too but it didn't quite fit with the others, "interesting" was my polite word ;)

I would have agreed that it's by far the best NR black rifle you own too, but I am biased and I try not to preach to often :) :) :)

But i still think the MR-1 is the best value for the money, at a certain point, i had 3, came to my senses and sold two on the EE like in 10 minutes... JP.

...care to share your reasons?

He was trying to be polite, your asking him to share his reasons, better be prepared for them too. And don't flame the guy when he shares those reasons and you don't agree.

I don't mean to single you out but I see this a lot, and I may have mis-read things but I think he was not sharing his reasons to avoid upsetting people, and disrupting the thread. That's why I said "Interesting" ;) ;) ;)

I likes all rifles until proven that they are not accurate, only one fit the perfect profile of the rifle you buy , you shoot a couple of hundreds rounds and you just sell in dispear ( the A-team used it a lot )... JP.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Who's flaming him?
I've been around long enough to not take opionions personally. I'm interested in hearing the good and the bad so I can make an informed decision if I should buy one. If someone has valid data first hand...fine. If its just cause one doesn't like the way it looks....then I move on.
Thanks again.

All rifles have their followers, i will never ever buy a mini again, but i can have a civilized conversation with a guy that own 3, are we not here for the pleasure of shooting, hunting, reloading, buying new stuff, disparity on the equipment, is what make this board interresting, let the anti be against us, we have to stick togheter even if we dont agree on certain subjects, many things were said ( quite rough sometimes )in the last 2 + years ( my time on CGN ) but i have no griefs with anyone... JP.

16.5 inch barrel and i think you have to modify the stock yourself, all the ones i saw had the strait stock... JP.

Some guys can't take it when I say that I find the MR1 ugly as hell and ergonomically retarded. But if you want honesty ;)

This Remington, it's not as fugly as the MR1 but yikes, "what the hell is it anyway" is what first came to mind. But I tried to avoid the boldness buy saying "Interesting" most knew what I meant I figured, it was just less confrontational.

Other than that, I have no credible input whatsoever ;) ;) ;)

Doesnt make the quarter of the third of a difference, if you dont like the look, all rifles i buy, i buy for me, some guy at the club told me one day, my Nemesis was fugly and we were shooting beside each other, i told him, i will show you what this fugly rifle is capable, he told me show me... Then he proceed shooting on his target at 200 metres and every shots he was shooting, i was shooting the bullet hole, of the five shots he put in the 4 inch orange dot, each and everyone of my bullet was cloverleafing each hole.... After that demontration (about 20 whiteness ) he did not say it was fugly... He just said very loudly this rifle is a laser, for the rest of the summer, i dont recall one member mentionning that the Nemesis was fugly, i just did put my money were my mouth was, so if the 7615P is a shooter, it will be a beautifull rifle... End of story. JP.

Normally I wouldn't have been so blunt but johNTO asked for honesty and I just think there is a reason people sugar coat it sometimes, my above post is clearly offensive to some, and I understand why, I was just making a point. Ic by your response that your not over reacting like some would, but it get's your defensive blood going when someone talks that way about your babies. Some can move on, others cannot, that's why people like BenL say things like this:

I wouldn't own that rifle for a number of reasons, but since a rifle purchase = another pissed off liberal, I'm cool with it :)

It's much less offensive don't ya think

I'm with Steve Janes...the 7615P isn't the prettiest rifle out there but it does have some design quirks I like.
To speak of a few...I like pump action SG's (this is a pump action very similar to the 870 controls), I shoot AR's in 223/556(this shoots same ammo using the same mags), 16.5"bbl(I like short-bbl anything), non-restricted and less "scary" than the other Black Rifles.
And they're not a dime a dozen........YMMV

I am not offensed if someone doesnt like the look of my rifle, because if a rifle was ugly and could not shoot, now i would be the stupid one, but if it shoot to my taste, the rest is so unimportant... JP.

I did not shoot it yet, i am waiting for my M4 stock kit and i should hit the range, in a couple of weeks or if i have a chance i will shoot it at our farmhouse little 100 yards range, will keep you posted with pictures... JP.
