Italian M1 Smith.

PM username purple here on CGN. I own one of his builds and my hunting buddy another. Great shooters that are set up properly.

Not sure if he works on other Garands other than what he builds but it won't hurt to ask. He's in the Southern Interior of BC

Had my numbers matching (except for a Danish VAR barrel) done by Nick a decade ago. Flawless restoration. Sent him my Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1 aswell.

Nick is the man. He's helped me out in a pinch when I purchased a vintage Marlin rifle that Bubba had damaged when attempting to install a sling swivel--Bubba must have dented the magazine tube with a screw, preventing more than two rounds from being held. Nick was able to repair the damage in about thirty minutes (including disassembly, reassembly, and cleaning) while a friendly employee there showed me some interesting guns that were for sale as well as around the museum/display.
He didn't even want to charge me at first, I had to force him to take some money as I didn't have the skills nor the tools to repair it as quickly or neatly as he had.
If you need M1 Garand gunsmithing he's "the guy".
