It retains the renowned MX8 action but replaces the traditional detachable trigger group and flat mainsprings with a fixed trigger unit powered by durable coil springs. This design offers the same exceptional handling and performance that Perazzi is known for while reducing the maintenance associated with the original flat-spring system.

The SC3 designation signifies a higher grade of beautifully figured walnut, while Oro, the Italian word for gold, denotes elegant gold-inlaid accents within the receiver engraving. Together, they create a shotgun that is every bit as refined in appearance as it is in performance.

Up next, a beautiful Perazzi MX2000/8

The MX2000 is, at its core, an MX8 or MX12 platform enhanced with upgraded cosmetics, including more elaborate engraving and higher-grade finishes. The MX2000/8 designation signifies the classic MX8 platform, complete with Perazzi's renowned detachable trigger group, while the MX2000/S is built on the MX12 platform, featuring a fixed trigger group and coil hammer springs.

This particular example is an MX2000/8, fitted with the iconic detachable trigger group and traditional flat V hammer springs. It's this combination that delivers the crisp trigger pull, lightning-fast lock time, and unmistakable feel that have made Perazzi competition shotguns legendary on the world's shooting grounds.

The Caesar Guerini Ellipse Curve Sporting

Up next in our premium shotgun lineup is a true work of art that shoots every bit as beautifully as it looks. This Caesar Guerini Ellipse Curve is typically offered as a field gun, but this example was special ordered in a sporting configuration, making it an exceptionally unique piece.

Now, a friendly warning before you scroll through the rest of the photos: the engraving on this shotgun definitely isn't PG-13. Let's just say the Italian engravers weren't concerned with modern movie ratings. If finely executed engraving is your thing—and especially if you appreciate artwork that goes well beyond the ordinary—you won't want to miss this one. It's a remarkable example of what master engravers can create when they're given complete artistic freedom. It's one of those shotguns that's equally at home breaking clays or spending an evening under the lights in a collector's display case.

Beneath the stunning exterior, the Ellipse Curve is built on the same action as the ISSF gold medal-winning Caesar Guerini Summit. It's a heavily refined interpretation of the classic Brescia/Gardone over-under action, featuring thicker receiver walls and larger bearing surfaces for exceptional strength and longevity. It's immediately apparent that Caesar Guerini engineered this platform to withstand an extremely high volume of shooting.

The attention to detail continues throughout the action. The ejectors follow the proven Perazzi-style design but incorporate a retaining detent to keep them from launching themselves across the shop during disassembly and assembly—a small but thoughtful improvement that anyone who has installed Perazzi ejectors will immediately appreciate.

Even the monoblock receives special treatment. Rather than traditional engine turning (jeweling), Guerini uses a Damascus-style finish that's intended to help retain lubrication while giving the action a distinctive, elegant appearance.
