Item on the EE for sale

If you can afford $8k on a gun, you sure as hell can afford a $200 plane ticket to go and physically purchase it.

Why be cheap?

Found it!! the second pic in the ad looks like a close up of this pic posted by another member!

It might actually be Pat911's buddy.

He bought my UMP from me about a year ago. Pat brokered the deal, as his bud was on active duty in the sandbox.

If you're really interested, you can confirm through Pat.

FWIW, if it indeed is the same guy, the last deal was very solid.

It could be a family member of the person who posted the original picture. So it is possible that the EE ad is perfectly legit.

Pat911 typically lists his own EE ads; the one for the MP7 and G36C are both still up there. Did he sell the UMP at some point? Although you'd figure that if you were asking for 8 grand, it'd be worth taking your own picture for...

The name isn't mrs mitty. Its MrSmitty and no I wasn't going to lowball him.

The first time I saw the name "Mrsmitty", I read it as "Mrs Smitty", then I figure that I should give him the benefit of the doubt, so I started to read it as "Mr Smitty". ;) Now I know for sure he is "Mr. Smitty".

I paid $7k for mine when i bought it. IIRC, there were only about 12 in private ownership in Canada. Not all in .45 either.

Pricey, but rarer than mice nuts.

Cheaper than a quad tho...

Yes, I regret selling it.

For this amount and a first time trader, I would make sure the transfer is direct bank deposit, to verify this guy has a real bank account, info etc...
Double check pal # w CFC?
