yes, i searched....

i have a NICE relatively new ithaca 37 bottom eject. ive only had it for a bit and only to the range a few times to play. some times when pumping it to load another shell, the new round will fall out as its being pulled from the tube mag into the chamber. more common if pumped with vigor :p
im using common 2-3/4" low recoil remington lead shells, so it shouldn't be the shells... i dont think. its as if something up inside needs to be tightened. like the feeding rails that pull and load the shell are loose? of corse if i flip it over to have a look and watch it load, its not gona have the problem.
anyone else ever had this issue?
i hear these ithacas are very reliable but this has happened to me at least once, each time i have taken it out to play.

When you say "relatively new", does that refer to the newly manufactured M-37s? My son's old M-37 had this issue, which we finally determined was due to an undersized rim diameter of one manufacture of shells. See if switching the brand of ammo fixes the problem, otherwise it would appear that you have a problem with the shell stop, in which case I think your best coarse of action is to consult a gunsmith.

My buddy had one years ago with the same issues, so damn frustrating, constant disappointment, never could figure it out...too cheap to bring it in to get it looked at. Another buddy had one that was ultra reliable...

I'd advise visiting a gunsmith.

It has been a very long time since I had the same problem with an old Ithaca37. I think if I remember correctly the fix went like this. If you turn the unloaded gun upside down there is a tiny screw in the bottom at the side of the ejection port. Under that screw is a small spring. When that spring becomes tired, broken, or filthy dirty this problem will happen. After a new spring was installed there was no more problem. Springs can be sourced from a fellow in Dunnville Ontario. I believe his name is Ron Sharpe.
This may or may not be the problem but it was with mine.
