Ithaca and Mossberg

My FIL is retired and needs something to keep him out of trouble. Ithaca 16 gauge and a Mossberg 195K bolt gun

Ah, an Ithaca M37 in 16 gauge, the near-perfect repeater…

Getting those two clean will keep him out of trouble for awhile. The 37 is the perfect upland pump in 16 bore. The Mossberg bolt gun makes a pretty decent slug shooter for shotgun only deer hunting. Nice pair.

I have an M37 in 16 gauge with a polychoke on it. I'm not much of a pump gun guy and I hardly ever shoot it but it's a real nice handling gun and the action is very slick. Oddly enough I've never felt the need to try slam firing it.
