Ithaca coming to Canada

Wow and here I never knew they moved from Ithaca, NY, to Ohio after being sold at auction (see wikipedia article).

Ithaca pump guns have a very good track record with law enforcment agencies.
 
I was on the phone with Ithaca today ordering parts in the USA. they are still looking into distribution in Canada, at the moment they are planning to distribute through the old Ontario distributorship from back when Ithaca was in Ilion in the early 1980's. Apparently the guy is still in business, they gave me his name, but I forget what it was...?

Looks like they will have some really great offerings again though. I love my Ithacas...
 
Parts would be great, but considering a very nice original REAL Ithaca sells for less than $200, I think it might be an uphill battle. I have talked to the various incarnation of Ithaca at past SHOT Show and they always seem like very small poorly organized outfits.
 
Perhaps it's an uphill battle, but a new 3" capable, interchangeable choked M37 with modern options like laminate, composite and walnut stocks, sight options, etc. would be a VERY good thing IMHO.

Canada is already the source for Ithaca parts. Whenever someone on one of the US boards is looking for parts for his Ithaca he is normally referred to Sharpe's Guns out of Dunnville, ON. I believe that he bought all of the parts when the factory shut down there.
