Just picked up a nice used Ithaca model 37, seems real nice, anyone have any experience with these? I like how it ejects and loads from the bottom. Its real light too.

They are real nice...if it's an older one be careful with muzzle control if you hold the trigger while you are pumping!

I have several of them. You think the 12 gauge is light, well try the 20 someday friend. The thing is like a magic wand, is natural pointing
(like all Ithacas) and nicely balanced for all day carry while hunting upland game.

Cheers and welcome to the club!

Well thanks a lot for all your replies. It is very light and does kick pretty sharply. Mine must also be older than 1976 cuz it will slam fire:). Was very well cared for, other than a scratch on the reciever it and some wear on the stock it is in very good condition. Very satisfied with it. Thx again.

Congrats...Me Too !!

Wonderful gun! I bought one from an elderly gentleman, and it worked perfectly, even with not being cleaned in 50 years and the firing pin snapped in half :)
