Hi, I am trying to fix a Ithaca mod 72 saddlegun for a friend of mine. It is missing the ejector, I've searched the web, with no success. I'm hoping someone that has one would be willing to pull the ejector out and take some pics and measurements so I could make one.
The ejector is (I believe) a stamped steel part that is sandwiched between the action and the action cover.
The ejector would be the same on Erma mod 71
It is not the same as a Henry 001, the Henry is a copy of the Erma mod 712.
Here's hoping, thanks.
OK here is the fix I came up with. Sorry my Pics are poorish
Here is the old gal

This is the receiver with the cover off, the ejector fits in the oval recess and is held in place by the cover

I used some banding material (like for shipping stuff on a pallet) It is .020" thickness
The oval measures .587" long and the gap at the top is .230" wide
I used metal snips to cut the general shape and needle files to shape and fit
The ejector is .430" from the bottom of the oval to the top of the bend and .165"ish long towards the bolt( it needs to almost touch the bolt as it slides back and forth) I left it over length and filled back to fit

So far it works, maybe the original was made from better material, like spring steel? But who knows
