anyone have one of these how common were they in Canadian?

My father has one great little gun just wondering if anyone else has one or seen them in canada

I got one and friggin love it. I shoot it off hand @ 75yds @ 3'' pucks and as long as I do my part they go down! It's also my go to rimfire silhouette rifle as its just incredible accurate.

I've heard stories about them being ammo sensitive as well as being jam-o-matics but I honestly do not have any issues with mine what so ever.
 
it's actually made in germany by erma, and marketed by ithica if i remember correctly; BIG improvement over the 49r, which was a disaster from the get go
 
I just picked one up on Monday, going to refinish the wood soon hopefully. Actually I'm going to get it out and put a few rounds down the pipe first.

Pretty cool looking little lever.
Are these the ones that will come as a single
shot with the dummy mag tube too?
I have been longing for a lever 22 rim.
Seems the Winchester and Marlin's are so out of reach
on $$.
 
these are the repeaters made in Germany by Erma. The 49 is the single shot made in USA by Stevens.

I own them both, wish my repeater was as ###y as your guys above. It is a bit picky with the ammo and has hold ups. You have to double tap the lever and get used to it but does it shoot straight!

Does anyone's have a lose fore grip? Mine does where the wood meets at the receiver

Had mine out today for a quick bit to see how she operated and was delighted. Trigger broke crisp with very little creep. I can't wait to take it apart and clean her up. I'm keeping this one for sure.
 
I can't help but think that looks darn near identical to the Henry .22 levers they're making right now. If it is similar then my constant gushing about how much I love my Henry Frontier is applicable. There is something just so wonderful about working a lever action .22 that's smooth as butter.

Yes I was surprised how nice of a trigger it has. great little plinker

Yes a lever .22 is so much fun and makes you smile ear to ear
