I believe this rifle was made by Tikka in Finland. I had my hands on one in .22-250 today. Reasonably nice condition. What would an approx. value be? No pics.

Thanks in advance. :)

You're correct. I think these were marketed in the mid-to-late 70's under Ithaca and then afterwards directly by Tikka. With the info given, I'd say $550 would be a ballpark value. They're nice rifles --- we recently discussed the long-action version, the m65, so you may find something useful by looking for that past thread.

they are good rifles - stocks on the Ithaca's often arent the most highly figured. I will assume it has a magazine. If it doesnt - make sure you can source one first before you purchase as they can be VERY hard to find.

i picked up a tikka 55 deluxe version here a few months ago with scope for $ 750 which was a fair price and was lucky enough to find a extra mag,,great shooter,,

Excellent rifles, I have had mine, an LSA 55 22.250, same thing, for 37 years and it still shoots as good as the day I bought it - about .75 moa. Dont lose the mag tho, will cost a fortune to replace if you can find one.

I am of the opinion that these older Tikka's will seriously go up in value as the years pass. There is no reason a new plastic Tikka should be selling for more than a classic deluxe.
