A friend has a XL 900 in 2 3/4 chamber and a 900 in 2 3/4.
Both are service guns used but not abused one has a crack where the butt stock meets the receiver will try and post some pics in the next day or so.

Any Idea on approx value??

I have seen xl900's listed lately for $450.00 to $575.00. I don't think they sold. I have a real nice one that I am thinking of listing (I bought it in 1977) but haven't decided yet for sure. I would probably list it at around $375.00 if I want to actually sell it. I think with a cracked stock you would have a tough time getting above $300.00. Just my opinion.
 
That's a start I was sort of thinking the same area in price I will be seeing him tomorrow and I will take a few pics of each one and add them to the post
