I bought a Ithaca SxS off the EE. The cackbiter I bought it from sold it to me told me it was in good shape. He didn't disclose that it only had one functioning barrel.:mad:

anyways, I took it apart to see what the problem is.

This is what i found.

This piece pivots and sets the trigger when you open the gun.

The douche bag I bought it from had to have known that it was broken....

Anyone know what its called and if parts are available?

Or who can fix it?

IIRC, you need a cocking piece and all the attaching hardware. Maybe get them both redone at the same time? But I don't know how closely the terminology fits between O/U & SxS.

A very well respected Birmingham trained gunmaker/gunsmith; Nick Makinson, lives and works in Komoka Ontario, is the go-to-guy for many (discontinued) break action shotguns IMHO.
If you do an internet search he has a business website.
