Any functional gun is worth something! Some non-functional can be of value too. If you have an x5, or x15 lightning they are nifty gems. Had double guide rods for bolt a looooong time before Remington 597 hit the streets. I doubt it's sale will allow you to retire though.
Try more detailed description of condition, or even post some pics, and you'll get some better responses. There was a new in box Ithica lightning in the EE, and it may still be in there.
