Hi all, I have a model 51 that likes to fire more that one round when you give her a squeeze. I assume that the trigger is non-adjustable (except by reshaping the sear). I do lots of tinkering on bolt guns and .22's but not much of a shotgunner. Can I remove the trigger group by drifting out the two pins and have a look at it, I guess I'm asking for a disassembly procedure.

Thanks,
Chad

Yes, the two pins will allow the trigger guard assembly to come out.

IIRC the bolt needs to be pulled to the rear an inch or so to let parts clear.

Take the barrel off,get the action in cocked and ready to fire position and check if your firing pin isn't stuck while you're at it...off all semi auto failures,no matter if pistol, rifle or shotty-trigger failure is a 10% cause, broken or worn other parts 30% and 60% work well after a troughout cleaning :D

my 2 cent.

happy new year,
CG
