i guess it's worth it.
Hi everyone, i'm Antonio. a soon-to-be-licensed gun owner in ITALY.
Yep you read it right. Italy.

I've been driven here on CGN looking for advice about asian M14 ( Norinco M305 ) rifles. they sell some down here, and since the rest of the civilized world stopped dealing with those rifles in 1994, i thought.. "hey, Canada.. that's the way to go!"

i've been lurking this Forum already and, well... it's time for questions!

Bye!

Well we already have people on here from Korea, Australia, US and New Zealand so why not have Italy represented as well!

Benvenuto Antonio!

I'm half Italian myself and lived in Torino/Piemonte for 12 years.

I must say thou, BC >>>> Piemonte ;)

You'll love CGN!

Welcome aboard.

yea, but you have the bm59- possibly the most refined m14 platform in the world- unless your gun laws are as ass produced as ours- then there's beretta, uberti, pedersolli, and a bunch of others- all quality firearms

Thanks everybody!

Eh, the BM-59. whew... uff. that's been a rather underestimated, unloved, unwanted rifle. And now it comes out... you foreigners love it?
Bad News: the Italian Government is hardly working on torch-cutting the receivers of most of those BM-59, as well as many Beretta Garands - mostly new, unissued...

anybody was speaking about ass-made laws?

they don't want the alpini coming out of the hills and taking over- ha ha- out of the 4 rifles that were possiblly the best battle rifles ever made, all the respective governments either seconded them to other countries , or took after the rifles with torches- fn-fal, the m14 in all its various forms. the g3, and there's one swiss thing i'm forgetting- i got mine courtesy of isreal
