I'd better look harder. I couldn't find it at Canadian Tire last time I looked, nor at Lordco. Hope there is some at my local CT, because I need some. Where is it? Hardware or automotive?

It was in Automotive, if I recall.

I just looked it up on their website; it's listed under 'Auto body rust control'. You can check there to see if your local store has it in stock.

Look in the last canadian Tire ads for the week beginning the 16th of september: there is some Rust Evaporator advertising with a special price!

I've used the evapo-rust before on a revolver that was in the white. It removed the rust, but left a discolouration on the bare metal that could only be removed with 600 grit sandpaper. If your project is blued or will be once you're done, this discolouration probably wouldn't be noticed, but it was quite visible on bare steel.
