It's Here! It's Alive! It's Improved! It's About Frickin Time!

Sadly enough only a few will actually read this, most will skip over it and complain that there was nothing wrong with the old site, why did you change it.

Such complaints/comments still hold true. They should have trouble shot it and tested out a prototype off-line before jumping in with both feet and releasing it in its current non-functional form. I thought it might just be my antiquated work PC, but at home here on my normal desktop PC, using Firefox, it's not much better. And SO slow. I had to wait just to get a chance to close down the tab with the Wolvie site, just so it wouldn't keep slowing down my whole freakin' browser. So that's it, I can't even surf it on my home PC. If it was any slower in changing pages I would go through a time warp backwards and start getting younger.. ;-D

Is it too late bring back the old site? I really enjoyed navigating it compared to this one. Actually my fav gunnutz sponsor site to surf until now. I know you tried to improve and I appreciate that. The bugs will, I suppose, get worked out of this one as well.
My suggestions have all been mentioned. I would like too see the product pictures larger instead of giant letters and product numbers and the white background kills my eyes.

The "Brands" are not in alphabetical order
The calibers are not listed smallest to largest
add the ability to list by cost, low to high and high to low
when you view a product and hit the back button it takes you back to page one even though the product was on page 12.

Just minor stuff. it is fast and responsive for me!

Cheers guys!! PS (When is my TS orange due to arrive? :) )

Constructive Criticism from a repeat customer

Constructive Criticism from a repeat customer: [Current viewing details: 27" Monitor at 1920 x 1080 - (2560x1440 native)]

1. (Navbar) header (Wolverine Supplies logo) is too tall takes up too much viewing area and potentially needless bandwidth, could easily be the half the size and it still would look well.
2. (Navbar) cascading "menubar" is too tall, takes up too much viewing area - can be same size font, but not as tall - 70px is way too tall; 45-50px would be enough.
3. (subnav) again too tall reduce height.
4. Background color(s) - white is too bright, very jarring!
5. 'Sort Product' list needs additional categories: i.e. Price - Lowest to Highest.

Page load speed is better then in the past, but it's still relatively slow. As outlined above, please reduce overall header height, to reduce unnecessary scrolling (and potentially reduce bandwidth use). Please reduce spaces between header(s), menus and sections - though aesthetic, it is not functional . Overall, good job so far.

Placed an order with you a week ago and now new site isnt recognizing username/password or email address to try to retrieve password..I hate to reregister but may have to

I wasn't horribly opposed to the new change, UNTIL, I came to work. I can't access the website while at work now. BOO! lol.
Now I have to work!
Thanks a lot Wolverine... :p (j/k)

please make it DEFAULT to be IN STOCK. noticed this after 4 pages of CZ rifles and only FOUR rifles in stock.

please make it so the preferences remain after you change categories. everytime i select another product, i HAVE to select IN STOCK.

please change the ammo selection to pistol rimfire and rifle. then select caliber. having to wade through 5 types is a waste of time.

why are there 270 rifles in BIG GAME and HUNTING? merge them together and let people decide what goes where. i'd rather select my rifle by caliber first. moose is hunting to some and big game to others..

my internet has big boy pants, can i look at a page with say 20 items instead of just 15? or how about let me see them all at once. no drop down menu for number of items to view

Okay, feedback, average repeat customer.
Tad slow, yes. No biggie so far. I live in the sticks, you mean to tell me the Internet is fast?
Go to firearms... Hmm interesting, special purpose. Nothing. Okay.
Handguns, hmm, surplus... Nothing. Alright.
Tactical rifles. One rifle on the bottom of the page is in stock, the first 14 are listed as backordered. Don't show me what you don't have for sale, I really don't care that you don't have it for sale. I'm at your Site to see what you DO have. How would you feel to walk into Superstore for groceries, and see 14 out of 15 shelf spots empty. That is the first impression.
So select in stock items, tap on an item to look through details, etc, hit browser back and I get an unsorted list again, back to empty shelves. That needs to be corrected.
Otherwise, it looksgood. Shame about the POS problem that causes you so much grief. Good luck getting it back to at least where the old Site was for user friendliness/function.

My old login info doesn't work, seems my account has been wiped? Had to create a new account. Anyone else get this?

The guys on the DD patch thread provide some good feedback on how slow the site is under load. It took me about 30 minutes at noon pacific to add some patches and get checked out.

Loosing my account info and order history in the site migration is a disappointment. It also appears that there may be real-time inventory issues. I was able to add 1000 DD patches to my cart and get all the way to the credit card payment screen. I appreciate that enforcing real-time inventory can be a challenge but I prefer it to be done when an item is added to the shopping cart. Then allocate 15 to 30 minutes to checkout before the item is returned to inventory. I would guess that it might be an issue with your POS system so perhaps its time to get rid of that problem.

The best way to help Wolverine fix their website would be to stop using it.

If you want to purchase something call it in.
Call at least three- four times to get detailed information about product you are intending to purchase.
No need purchasing something that doesn't suit your needs, is it now?

Once you are certain that you found what you needed, call them to make an order.

Day later, call again to make sure they got it right.

Two days later call to see if they sent it yet.
Wolverine is an excellent dealer and probably answer will be positive.
Thank them for prompt service, and in your excitement forget to ask package tracking numbers.

Do that next day, and call them again.

Once you receive your package, call them to thank them and apologize for calling so much and thank them again for their patience.
