It's here: NEA-15 unboxing photos

I guess the bottom line is that if we wanted to toe the line and make just another AR we could have. But why? We had the opportunity to strike out on our own a little, nothing serious, it's still an AR, but we went with it. In the end another forged AR with the same plastic hanging off it is the same as all the rest.. it just has a different name on it.

If you like a KAC gun, get a KAC ..
If you like a LMT gun, get a LMT..
..If you like a NEA gun, get a NEA.

Everyone has different preferences, why try and change that? I'd rather people liked our gun for what it is and not because it's the same as someone else's..

There are some great gun makers out there and there are a lot more cookie cutter ones. We hope to one day be along side those ones that decide to take the chances and make some products that aren't the norm. But we understand that the great ones are the ones doing this, and the cookie cutters are still sitting in the bakery..
I think it's great that you guys are doing what you are doing but to be 100% honest, I shoot Glocks. I am totally on board with cookie cutter guns. I care that they work. But for me, ARs are pretty much interchangeable on every level except quality.

I only care about getting a Noveske or a Centurion if they DO something other guns don't do. And I would be the first person to admit that in my hands, a Noveske or Centurion probably wouldn't do all that much better than a rack grade M4.

Others may (and I assume do) feel differently. But for me personally, the goal is to get a rifle with a FF rail that has reliability and durability on par with Colt or DD or LMT or a good Stag.

But obviously if "doing things a little differently" is part of what makes your business run, I'm hardly going to advise otherwise. I'm just commenting on my own priorities as a shooter.

You're not competing at this point with KAC, or LMT or Colt. You're right now competing with Norinco who also can say they have military sales for their AR15 but the success was in the civilian export market which didn't include the US either. Another competitor is the American Core15 rifle. What I'm hoping for is a product that can compete with my Stag, or my Armalite only at a better price point and with some of your innovative features you guys have. You aren't there yet from my point of view for the reasons I've mentioned. Although I think you guys could be in the near future based on what I've been reading. It just needs some polish. That's what I was getting at.

I have no doubt the product has a place in the market as it is now. I'm just saying that it doesn't right now have a place in all the markets such as with the so called tier1 or even tier2 AR15 rifles. With some tweaks there's no reason why it shouldn't be in the future.

That being said. More range reports and pictures please. Also is the picture on this thread the original cut or the new shorter one for the free float rail?

.. That's the plan. I think you mistook what I was saying, I don't think we're competition for KAC etc.. Just another AR alternative. We just want people to choose it for what it is. We'll work on it and get there when we get there. First we have to focus on the product.

.. The HG in the OP's first post is one of the old cuts. The HG's pictured on the 9" in our section is the new cut. I'll post a pic here.

Keep doing what your doing, most give there input here because they actually care, whether people say it or not, we all love what your doing and we support you.

If this is what you're bringing to the table for your first rifle, you've done extremely well! Wait till you guys refine your design over the years, I have no doubts that NEA will be up there with the rest of em. Like all others you gotta start somewhere and the bar has been set, you can only go up from here.

I'm looking at doing an M4A1 clone soon, and I think what you guys got will make for a nice foundation.

I am receive in mails today riffle from capitalist country of Canada, make by NEA. They are calls it NEA-15. I have take picture for you, komrades.

Firstly, here is unassuming box. He is surely not a riffle!

But inside is riffle! Instead of use cosmoline, Capitalist Pig-Dogs like to show their supposed superiority with expensive Packing Peanuts.

I take him out of box and I look at him, he is very much a black riffle. Include in box is warranty (pheh! Riffle made in great motherland has no warranty because riffle made in great motherland will NEVER BREAK) and small poker chip, perhaps a symbol of capitalists taking moneys from their proletariat.

Here is Gryphon which has been emblazoned on lower receiver.

And look! here they are say many times NEA.

(There are oils here in last photograph which has caused expensive Packing Peanut to melt into letter. I can clean him out with my teeth later)

Here is viewing of bolt carrier group through magwell. Clean inside! Like new Lada.

And they have make number on mounting rail because they are stupid and will not remember where to put scope! Stupid capitalist.

Here is inside of railed forend... maybe make nubs for cooling off?

And here you can see Polygonalic Riffling (That why they call it a riffle!)

And here is he with his accessories, and my friend mister Beer.

Overall I am say that this riffle is very solid and well-made. However, as there is no machining marks I propose that Capitalists are make waste of their labor by spending too much time on making riffle "pretty" when poorly ground and hammered riffle will shoot as well. Also as I understand riffle is cost well over One Thousand of dollars (even tens more!), which is plenty enough to equip large fighting force for Motherland.

Do not forget: While Canada is more socialist than dog-sucking American pig-goats, they still are Capitalist devils to the core, which can be clearly seen by this riffle!

Гражданин, Komrades!

Looks nice, whats the price for something like that?

For all you people that are bent on a ''milspec'' AR , NEA should just make a $1500 rifle for all you out of 7075 .. But me I'm very hyped on a $1000 Canadian made rifle with all those features.

We'll cross post it in our CGN section as well. Thanks to Earl for not pulling any punches and providing us with the ability to address his concerns.
