Just measured the barrel... well folks, when they say Canada legal , they do it Canada legal
The barrel is a "hair" under the 106mm mark on my vernier caliper
I believe that it is really California legal and we just get to go along for the ride. Either way, I am happy that Ruger is stepping up and offering 4.2" barrels for those of us living with the ridiculous 4" restriction. I plan to buy a GP100 in 2010 to support them with some business and to get a really nice .357 in my safe.
