Wow, you'd think people would be grateful for any scope they might win in a FREE competition, nevermind having the specs pre-arranged right down to the eye relief

. The ironic thing with scopes, trying to get the Cadillac at Pinto prices may actually get you a worse scope than just settling for the Pinto in the first place.
Geezus, it's worse than the old coffee regimen at my office, thankfully before I got there. When it was your turn for the week, you had to make 2 pots of coffee (one weak, one strong because some people couldn't drink one or the other). You had to get donuts, and not just any kind, everyone had their specific preference, and God forbid should the donut shop NOT have the right donut for someone, especially the old manager (one person actually waited to have the specific donut baked). There was a list. Once someone had the gall to bring something else other than donuts, and said manager wouldn't shut up the whole coffee period about the lack of donuts, specifically, his donut.
Everyone agrees that our informal coffee arrangement is much better, more fun and more exciting now that the "old guard" has moved on, and that it is a complete surprise what snacks come in on Friday.
Sounds like this group is in dire need of trying the same experiment.
Lastly, I realize this didn't help you in your search for a scope, but I genuinely wish you best of luck in your search.
