They are blowing smoke and thats IT....

Firearms laws are in Criminal Code of Canada.....FEDERAL LAW.

Under Charter of Rights and Freedoms all citizens are equal under the law.

So unless they can get the rest of the provinces to sign on, invoke Notwithstanding clause or if some miracle Private Members Bill gets passed in the House of Commons we are safe until next LIEberal government comes along. Judging by the fact that top LIEberal leadership candidates are distancing themselves from the party at the moment it is quite evident Tories are going to be in for at least 2 - 6 years.

This will give enough time that STIFFER sentences will begin to CURB the gun violence and these assnign calls for bans will fall on deaf ears.

GET TOUGH ON CRIME!!!!

Stockwell Day is the new Public Law and Order Minister (or something like that) so it might be interesting.
 
They should just change it to :

"TORONTO should have the right to ban handguns even if other provinces don't."

I'm currently awaiting my restricted PAL......if they impose some f***ng ban before that, I want my f**n money back for my app and my test!!

I'm soooooooo sick of this crap, especially in Ontario. It's NOT an Ontario problem....it's a f**king TORONTO problem!!

If they decide to ban all my firearms....I'm moving to Alberta!!

It's not a Toronto problem, it isn't an Ontario problem, it isn't a gun problem.. it's a CRIME PROBLEM.

Bryant and McGuinty need to hear it from as many people as possible so that they know they can't pull the wool over Ontario's eyes.
 
Those kinde of people make me sick! They think they can control everything. What's next? I know, let's eliminate cigarettes, junk food, fast cars, snowmobiles and motorcycles because they kill too many people every year. And what about forcing the population to wear helmets and full body armor when it's full of ice in the streets, so that way we can all be safe!

Yup....you got it, might as well ban everything!!

Ultimately.....you could kill someone with a spoon if you were so inclined.

In saying that, what if they banned guns and death by spoons went through the roof?

Ban spoons??? What the hell do we eat ice cream with...

....this is going nowhere.

Yea, but the government does tax the F%$K out of guns like they do smokes, so they're not as inclined to put warning labels on my slide like....

"death of stupid people may result from looking into the wrong end"
 
We have to face the facts. It's never going to be over. There will always be someone who will oppose guns. This why we always have to be ready to fight back. Keep up the pressure! Do not rest! It's more important than it was before the election.
