Oh I'm close- maybe 5' away! There was no need to zoom the camera at all.
Typical of my luck though, I put the framing hammer and my Maasai spear by the back door and the bugger hasn't come back since. I'm sure he's out doing what I'd like to be doing (with my own species, that is).

I told my wife the idea to wear some sheds and pick a fight and the reply was "go ahead, but I'm not driving you to the emerg room!".

Tonight an even bigger (3x3) buck showed up and was chasing the ladies around. I took some of the advice posted, grabbed a set of my own 3x3 antlers and went out to claim the yard.
