Having newly registered, I figured I'd also say hello in here, as I mainly shoot black powder guns.
Currently hunting/shooting with a .54 Great Plains Rifle (percussion), building a .62 jaeger flintlock and trying to develop a functional load for my Pedersoli 1863 Sharps Sporting rifle.

I am also keen on getting hold of flintlock pistol, but if I understand the current regs correctly, the only way to do that is to get an antique?.

Or perhaps build your own? Locks are available and barrels can be made from longer stock. Have done it before and registered them - not sure about registry now.

Actually, that was my initial plan. It is however now illegal, as you cannot register new guns.
