It's tough living in the North!

we have +12c now seems regular but it was warm few days ago and so far only one night with frost here and all the snow that we got few weeks earlier on the mountains is gone except higher up. but a friend got a dall sheep not far from town and it was chilly -5c and really windy. colors are showing it is not anymore summer.

and most of the time it is magical and sometimes unbelievable. you bring sometimes a plate of home made lasagna and they transform within a few months in a wonderful magic C H O C O L A T E cake. my favourite one.

thank you so much Ted and Marg.

even our dog Laika is trying to get her share.

it is tough living in the north.

hello.

while hunting for moose under the rain and before the outboard decided to quite on us. we ate some moose burgers to attract a new donor and tried to warm the blue sponge in case of no success for this winter ...

we had a blast of time seen a cow and calf. the cow was calling despite being with the calf and was very noisy. a shame no bull around.

enjoy.

fall is not over.

and it is tough living in the north for sure.

Love this thread but after having spent time in the north and coming back from Hawaii a couple of days ago, where I was forced to share my daily swim in warm ocean with giant sea turtles, engage in unpleasant sea fishing(blue snapper, and trigger fish that we fried up on the boat), eating Pua'a(wild pigs) and feral chickens that run around everywhere , endure uncommon sunrise/sunsets with annoyingly constant warm trade winds at my back and temperatures that never drop below 25C in winter I have to say I think its a lot harder to live in the south, Aloha :)
