I went up last week and you couldn’t see 100 paces through the fog and rain.

Daughter was working in back country of Tombstone late last week and woke up with 5 inches of snow on her tent....

What is happening with your streams up there? My daughter sent some alarming pictures of cloudy or red coloured water in streams that should be running crystal clear in the Tombstone area. Including the Blackstone where I caught my first grayling.

Probably Engineer creek. Very high sulfur content. Typically yellowish and cloudy.

No she is dealing with back country systems that have always been clear water. Apparently same issue happening in Alaska.

She didn't take that in the back country but it was a picture along the Dempster showing the cloudy and red precipitate in the water that she is seeing in the interior.
