Remington 700 PCR SBR! Might not have the range of it's big brothers but I think it will do fine!

Chambered in 308 with a cute 12.5" barrel :d

That would be a super handy easy to feed rifle for 400 and in. For reloaders 30 cal is the most flexible and common bore size to feed when components get scarce.

My plan is a sub 300 yard hunting rifle since it's so small and easy to pack.

They're a well built gun, considering the sliding QC Remington was putting out in some of their models the last few years prior to their bankruptcy.

So one thing I noticed was that with Magpul stock that came with the gun, you couldn't get a decent cheek weld to save you life. So I found a used Magpul PRS stock that went onto the gun.

Here's what it looks like now

Swapped the Magpul AR stock for something that gives me a chance to have a proper cheek weld. The PRS was a used one we had at work (thus the colour). The scope on it now is off my custom rifle that is being built because the scope I had on it failed and had to go in for warranty.

Looks good, how much balance point change was there with the stock swap??

I run a Christensen MPR with a 16” barrel, hell I’d love if it had 12.5!! Great little gun in the best calibre.

.500 Phantom - This was another cartridge developed by Teppo Jutsu as a heavy caliber, hard-hitting law enforcement or special operations cartridge. It was designed by Marty ter Weeme from Teppo Jutsu in 2005 and is based on the 500 Jefferey case that was shortened and necked down to fit into the AR-10 platform. For all intents and purposes the cartridge has been discontinued, largely because of the cost and availability of the brass.
