IUR Range Reports ?

With all the IUR's shipping over the last couple of week's, surely there are a few range reports by now?

Anyone have any impressive results to share?
 
Only one I read here was several shots inside an inch at 50 yds. (indoor range only available), sorry not much of a range report.

Colt Canada does claim that the IUR shoots better (more accurately) then the anniversary model SA20/SA15.7 rifles and claims they are a 1MOA.

Still your right some real independent reports at 100m+ would be nice. I would have my nee IUR in the mail today, but I have since changed my mind and am going to gamble that Colt Canada will offer a complete C8IUR before this year is up. I hope my dream of owning a 14.5" Patrol is realized sooner then later. CC are you listening...

I am hoping to get my out next week. Have PCM 62 gr and Norc 55 ammo. Might get some match grade ammo as well.

I will do a review when mine shows up and I have it zeroed.

On a sidenote, 55 grain norc ammo is not a very good ammo to gauge how well a rifle can group, especially one with a 1:7 twist barrel.
 
Gah, I'm still recovering from buying my 15.7 just after the New Year. Hopefully there are still IURs kicking around when I decide to take the plunge.

It's likely all these recent Military over-runs (with this specific configuration) will be gone sooner then later.

Fortunately Colt Canada has stated they plan to offer IUR rifles and possibly uppers too (most likely in a slightly different configuration) later this year, allowing you the opportunity to still find CC IUR goodness after these models are gone...

There will be some floating on the EE. If this IUR top doesn't perform to my expectations I will sell mine to you.

I will run a variety of premium off the shelf match ammo and am expecting sub moa accuracy from 10 shot groups. Gun will be topped with a zeiss conquest HD5 2-10x42 scope on ADM recon mount, the standard milspec trigger will be swapped to a Geissle SSA-E, the lower is a Colt Canada SA20, with the stock HH buffer. I know of another german made piston driven highly regarded ar variant that can achieve it, so I don't see why the IUR can't. But stranger things have happened. I'm fairly confident it will work. Oh the BCG is the CC bcg that came with the SA20. Oh and it will be propped up by an atlas bipod.
 
I've tried Gold Medal - Federal Premium 69 grain the other day, bipod from the table, 100 meters and got sub-inch group from 5 shots. As expected, 55 gr norinco performed very poorly. Waiting for a better weather and more spare time to really test this upper.

I shot mine last week at the 300 meter swiss range. CC 15.7 lower with polished trigger. With a SpecterOS 4x M4 reticule, off a sand bag and with a 10-15 KPH diagonal wind, all shots within 10 cm bull with about 30-40% landing within 6-7 cm of absolute zero on an A10 electronic target. Shot using GP90 5.6mm and repeated with PMC X-tac Green Tip. Seems to be very accurate.

The Colt Canada factory claim that the SA15.7 rifles are MOA and the 15.7" IUR's are inherently more accurate then the SA15.7 barrels. So there's no reason to believe the equipment will let the shooter down in making 10 shot sub-MOA groups possible using these 15.7" IUR barrels (well at least with the right ammo.).
