Traced...............................
Yup.
Sent in a couple scopes to Trace Scope Repair and got them back
in good order.
One old Weaver K-3 60C I bought at a gun show. Went to clean the lenses
and the ocular lens fell in. Uh-oh.....
The lens retaining ring was split through the threads.
The other was an old early 60's Redfield 2-7x that is a decent 'nuff scope,
but when the power ring was changed, the eye piece focus ring needed some
fine tune adjustment.
Plus the + hair seemed a bit fuzzy........
Made a call and had a pleasant chat with Phil.
Sent the scopes in and they are back.
I am impressed with the repairs and the cost of fixing them.
Sure won't think twice about sending in other scopes that are worth something
once they are brought back to life.
Thanks Phil for your professionalism and the desire to keep these old scopes
on shooters.
