OK!! I've done it!! =-D I'm pretty excited. Thanks for the Replys on my other enfield post guys! I just had to post a new thread since I figure this one is deserving of the exposure (and I'm an attention whore).

Lots of Great Info Cosmic but I've Ignored all of it   (I actually finnished everything before reading your post). It's actually a Cad-Technik Mount (Available on Brownell's). I didn't know about the Stock oil thing. Thanks for the Info. That Linseed oil seems to have worked really well though!

I don't like Gunsmiths! I Have serious Issues Paying for something I can do my self. (No offence to the gunsmiths and I appreciate the time some of you may or may not take to answer my Questions).

Someone was Complaining about my Picture sizes because they take too long to load etc. etc. I'm posting a load of full size pics anyway because most people are living in the 21'st and have High speed Internet so I'm catering to the Masses (+ they look so great in Big Form =-)!

OK, so once again here is a Pic of the origonal trigger next to the Huber Concepts Trigger:

This is what I had to get the Huber Into:

The Solution!! Once again my Trusty Canadian Tire Drill press has proven its Worth:

I Basicly just took one pass off the back of the trigger as you can see in this Pic:

There was about a 1/16" of metal left stickin out which had the Reminence of the Creep Adjust screw hole in it. I Cut off the back area with a set of side cutters and from there just filed everything smooth. It's hard to know what I mean as I'm not describing it well but you'll see it in the pics:

The remaining material on the back of the trigger worked as a permenant, non-adjustable creep eliminator and I just adjusted the trigger for pull weight. I don't have a Trigger scale but I'm guessing its about a 1lb or under pull and breaks so Clean it could make a guy Cry! It has Improved my Shot groupings already but seeing as I don't have a good bench (or a good shot for that matter ) I can't tell exactly how accurate it is =-) I'm Pullin off 2" groups at 150yds shakin like a Knight in a Thunderstorm.

Here is a Pic of the Finnished Product, Monte-carlo stock and all:

Now I have to ask you "Anti Mod" guys, Is it really that bad? I Mean... Really? 100% reversable, old battle rifle gets a breath of fresh air. You Like it, Admit it :D

Thanks again to those that offered a Helping hand

I wish I had a Good shot and a good bench rest :D Anyone wanna come out and shoot my rifle for me?

now wally If you lived near me I would shoot that for you. Just don't decide to cut up the remaining wood. If you want sporterized wood its fairly easy to find and cheap to.

I was going to ask what type of mount your usingf but then went back to your post to see thats its a Cad-Technik Mount, I've got a different no mill/drill mount on one of my butchered enfields (yes I have a few   ) but I havn't gotten around to seeing just how steady the mount is yet. So let me know hou yours is doing after a few boxes

I Love it! It holds it's Zero really well. It doesn't move a Bit. i Dunno if you know much about the Cad-Technik but it's one of those "Removable Scope return to zero" units. I don't ever remove it and I tighten the Thumb screws with an Allen Wrench. The only problem I have with it is that the screws that hold the Weaver rail on thread directly into the Aluminium base. I Dunno if you have much experience with Aluminum Threads but lets just say they don't hold up very well =-D I Have nuts on the underside of the mount to hold things in Place.

I liked the "before" pics better... but I'm an evil purist

Man, That stock has a Big "S" stamped into the back of it! I Would love to see you shoot it Origonal! Unless You're Asian, a Twelve year old girl or a Wood Gnome, it's like shooting a Cork Gun.
