Very nice, love the black bayonet., I just got the Tapco 5/20 too. Now I want to get another and make it make it black with a Tapco stock... wish I could find a black bayonet at Lever

The stock bayonet comes with an abrasive/textured finish, I'd imagaine a flat black krylon paint would adhere to it pretty easily.

Probably. Mine is blued though, so it doesn't have that painted texture.

My 54 Izzy has a polished one, 50 Tula is black, and my Norinco didn't come with one. The Tapco stock it's in doesn't support one anyways though. I'm looking at another SKS right now that I may buy which has a "cosmo gold" bayo.

Yes, some were blued, some were painted. If not, they are usually polished steel or unpolished, which is the least appealing IMO.

Geezus Khrist... these Lever Arms laminate refurbs are striking! I don't think I've ever seen a laminate stock look so good!
