and bought a polymer gun, let the flaming begin...at least it's not a Glock.

I suspect it will shoot well. One thing I know for sure it is the most comfortable pistol I've ever held in my hand, I love the idea of not only different back straps but different side panels as well.

I would not bank on that. It has one of the most unforgiving triggers in the market coupled with polymer pistol trait of not covering poor form, if your form is wrong this will demonstrate that with no mercy.

hmmmmm tell us how it shoots was interested in one of these

Like I said, ever near the calgary region you are welcome to try mine.

Well now that you have no soul, more time to enjoy the new tupperware :), Just kidding, I have more than one Polymer HK, and glock! Hey, where did my soul go, its been so long I forgot

Do people still seriously flame others over shooting polymer pistols? What is this, 1992?

It's hard for me to imagine a more proven, accepted technology than polymer frames for pistols. At this point, if you're still playing the "plastic guns aren't real guns" game, you're so far out of the loop that if you stood on a hill in perfect conditions and used a million dollar telescope, you couldn't see the loop from the planet you're on.

The P30 is plenty accurate and reliable as anything ever built. I don't like HK triggers because I am used to a very different trigger philosophy but there's nothing there that can't be overcome with training.

But but Glock vs 1911 flame wars are hilarious to read lol.

I think most are just having lighthearted fun and not really serious. Everyone knows by now polymer is just as reliable and dependable.

I had owned a couple of polymer pistols but sold them only because I like the feel and get more enjoyment from shooting all steel pistols.

I still do....or did:)

Got it completely stripped down, cleaned and Froglubed. Getting the trigger spring back in was fun.

I'm really liking the mag release on this thing, I have short thumbs so it's nice to be able to hit the release with my trigger or middle finger.

As usual - what he said.

OP - Congrats on the new HK. I love my HKs.

Earlier this year, a site sponsor had one on consignment and available for a song. I wanted it, but had to take care of a couple of other things before being able to jump on it...and of course, in very short order and before I could even recheck it's availability, it was gone. I still want one, so let us know how it works for you.

Congrats . sure looks perty .
Herred the trigger was suppost to be the crappiest one ever produced .
Can you comment on your expireriance

Never wanted a polymer gun until I held the p99. It is the most comfortable pistol I have held. Maybe one day I'll get the opportunity to hold an HK and I'll be just as surprised.

That's how mine shoots
